Unplug the external drive and the computer booted correctly. Even if the BIOS was set to only boot from "C:", many many people had troubles booting up with external HDs connected. We would just loose the screen. Pressing the blank screen to change radio channels did work. Has never happened after the GPS exchange.

DRL not working. I recently replaced my headlights and now I noticed that the Daytime Running Lights are not working. They may not have been working before replacing the headlights. Any help as to where the DRL module might be or what else could be causing this would be great. It is now Law here that they must be working so I need to solve this
Turn off the engine and open the hood. Locate the transmission dipstick (not the engine oil dipstick). Remove it and wipe it clean with a lint-free cloth. Reinsert the dipstick, remove it, and read the transmission fluid level. If the level is in the recommended cold range, drive the vehicle for twenty minutes.
